One image to explain how I partner on-demand with R&D and Data teams.
I’m a researcher who doesn’t impose my neurology; instead, I offer an alternative kind of support.
Because of how my mind works, I function best when I alternate between two types of work:
-
High-focus research: When I have full energy for deep creative focus (over periods of a few weeks), I act as your Wildcard Researcher. For instance, I lay technical foundations, test secondary hypotheses, and explore alternative models to help you kickstart a project and give you time to hire the right permanent expert, or prepare the ground so incoming interns can be onboarded seamlessly.
-
Linear execution: When I need lower cognitive load (a frequent reality on the autism spectrum, but something that can affect anyone, as it is basic biochemistry and not a lack of willpower—if it happens to you, just ask me for tips!), I support the data science team. I help reduce backlogs through linear tasks such as data pipeline cleaning, dataset structuring, and statistical hypothesis testing.
My workflow model is currently in its pilot phase. I offer on-demand support billed upon completion, much like buying a pastry from a baker once it is ready. It is the best way I have found to be a risk-free partner, do what I love, and keep freely developing all my passions (from IT specializations such as generative models or convex optimization to theoretical maths, even without professional motivations)!
